Membership & Forms

  • > 2026 Membership Form

    Membership Fees:
    Required $50.00 Volunteer Fee (refundable with min. 4hrs volunteer hours or a min. $50 sponsorship)
    $60.00 individual
    $70.00 for 2 family members
    $80.00 for 3+ family members

    Members will not be permitted to enter the grounds until fees are received.

    Key Holder Fees
    $40.00 individual key holder
    $60.00 for 2 member key holders
    $75.00 for 3 or more member key holders

    Active Membership
    Active members are required to have current Horse Council BC (HCBC) membership. Proof of membership must be shown before entry to the grounds or shows will be permitted.

  • All riders who wish to enter the Vimy riding ring MUST fill out a waiver.
    Riders under the age of 19 are required to have a parent or legal guardian sign the underage waiver.

  • The 2026 show season is upon us! We look forward to the 2026 Buckle Series Open Breed Horse Show and Gymkhana, taking place the last Sunday of May, June, July and August.

    Please review the 2026 Show Program below before signing up. Each show has its own entry deadline.

    Please send completed forms to vimyclub@gmail.com with payment.

    *Note that a late fee of $15 will apply to those that sign up on the day of the show, or make any changes to entries after the closing date.

  • Riders wishing to have access to the riding ring outside of events must submit a key holder agreement.

    Key holders must NOT share keys. Each person in a single household is required to submit their own key holder agreement.

  • Yes! You will need to submit a show entry form and a waiver, along with the listed fees on the form for a non-member. You will need a valid HCBC to participate in our shows.

    Non-members are required to follow the same Vimy Western Riding Club rules and regulations as our members.

  • We do not directly offer lessons or lesson packages. However, many of our members offer private lessons and packages. For lesson opportunities, we recommend reaching out in our club Facebook group or checking the directory on the HCBC website.

  • Unfortunately, we do not have stables on our club grounds. We recommend reaching out to our club Facebook group for boarding opportunities, or checking the business directory on the HCBC website.

  • Each show in our 2025 Buckle Series has its own deadline, noted below and in the Show Program.

    Early entry deadline for May 25 is May 21.

    Early entry deadline for June 29 is June 25.

    Early entry deadline for July 27 is July 23

    Early entry deadline for August 31 is August 27.

  • Rosettes for 1st - 5th place will be handed out during shows, along with daily hi point rosettes.

    You must be a member and have participated in a minimum of 3 shows to earn points to qualify for our year end awards and buckles. Awards and buckles are awarded during our year end banquet.
